Saskatoon Health Region delivers health services ranging from hospital to long-term care and public health to home care. We do this in partnership with more than 100 agencies including St. Paul's Hospital, the University of Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology. Of special note is our relationship with the Canadian Light Source Synchrotron, the largest science project in Canada in more than 30 years, lighting the way to a new era of science and innovation research in Saskatoon's Innovation Place.
We serve close to 300,000 residents in more than 100 towns, cities, rural municipalities and First Nations. We are one of Saskatchewan's provincial referral centres and an academic health sciences, teaching and research centre. We are the single largest employer in the province with over 11,000 staff and over 750 physicians.
