General Manager

General Managers are responsible for leading, developing, directing and coordinating activities related to a clinical service. This includes managing staff, strategic planning, servcie implementation and evaluation as well as overseing the budgets within these areas. General Managers must have a high level of knowledge about health care, the organization and the specific services that they oversee.

Training

  • A Bachelor/Master or PhD degree depending on the area
  • Significant experience, preferably at a senior level in a health care  organization.
  • Technical experience in the field.
