Medical Imaging Technologists work as
part of a team that includes radiologists,
interns, surgeons, nurses, laboratory
technologists, nuclear medicine
technologists, sonographers and
other specialists.
Medical Imaging Technologists
use radiographs (X-rays) to
help make medical diagnoses. This may be a routine X-ray of a
chest or broken arm, or it may be
a
part of more sophisticated
examinations
used to detect heart,
blood-vessel, or
brain abnormalities.
