Pharmacy Technicians perform tasks in the areas of drug distribution and sterile products.

These tasks include preparing medication for individual patients; preparing and checking patient specific medications in accordance with a fill list; distributing narcotic and controlled drugs; preparing sterile products (intravenous mixtures, total parenteral nutrition, chemotherapy), and other related tasks.

How Long: 
38 weeks

Entrance Requirements: 
Grade 12 with a minimum of 70% in each of the following subjects: Math A30, Biology 30 and Chemistry 30. One must maintain a minimum overall average of 65%. One must also submit and document proving they can type 35 words per minute.
